I was thinking less about fox hunting itself than the idea of fox hunting on bicycles idea, if that were true. That would be what you'd call a perfectly potty idea (or something similar), if nothing else than if you try shooting a fox with a gun while riding a bicycle, you'd hit anything but the fox. Firing guns in a populated area is a bad idea anyway; if you need to remove an animal from a certain area, traps are the way to go. I recently called a professional trapping service who set up a cage trap top remove a squirrel who had gotten into my house's attic (and who made a TREMENDOUS amount of noise), which made me think it had been a raccoon!)

You must have an extremely short one, because many if not most Americans-and I don't mean conservatives and moderates but progressives as well-consider Obama the worst President ever. One progressive has said he was ashamed of having voted for Obama the moment he bombed Libya. And in case you were unaware, many Democrats did NOT want Obama around to stump for them in 2014. No surprise when the Democrats had been losing big time since 2008 when they had a solid majority in the US federal government.

When Obama became president everybody was raging about how George W Bush bombed Iraq. When Bush became president everyone was talking about how sleazy Clinton was. Who has the short memory now?

I find it baffling how people who can be wary of all the other presidents are somehow not wary of Mr Trump. They have let their guard down entirely where he is concerned.

Clinton's reputation of being sleazy has survived to this day, and people are realizing that he was simply in the right place at the right time and picked the perfect time to leave.

Obama was depicted as the Messiah who was going to make everything right. He made things worse, and it took Trump to put things right. All those investigations which failed to prove any wrongdoing on the part of Trump has only made him stronger.

I have a long enough memory not to believe reputations anymore. For so many decades we all thought, Saint Bill Cosby-only to find out recently about his being a rapist. Why did the news media cover it up for so long? And William Randolph Hearst never said, "You supply the photos, I'll supply the war." Why do you think the American public stopped trusting the news media? I once had a leftist Irish leftist college media professor who taught us how the news media often suppresses news stories-and he wasn't lying.
