Someone (who will remain nameless ) asked me a question. He said, if this:

...is what the uniforms of the Sweet Shoppe look like, what do Brandy's girls wear in the way of uniforms?
...I couldn't let this thought go, especially since the image of their uniforms (or the lack thereof) jumped into my head the instant he posed the question. So, I quickly sketched it out and scanned it in and... here it is. THIS is the uniform of Brandy's Place.
...uh, once again, this is just a model. She may or may not appear in the stories Anyway, I hope you like it

Well, Brandy's Place is like a pub. The Sweet Shoppe is likened to a soda bar/bakery/ice cream shoppe, very bright, very warm and very welcoming. Brandy's Place is much darker, more adult, they serve catnip beverages (alcohol to us) and hearty foods like greasy burgers and fries. The Sweet Shoppe serves ice cream floats, tea, coffee, fruit smoothies and light foods like pastries and soup and cold cut sandwiches and tuna fish.
Despite their differences, Brandy does not get along with Sweetheart on a personal level and has made it her business to pitch her business against Sweetheart's. She is in every sense her rival and does little malicious things to try and knock down her business. But, since the customers are so different, she's not had that much success...and people like the Sweet Shoppe, so, I don't think she'll get very far in her sabotaging!

Brandy will find it hard to be a rival considering their businesses offer such totally different products and atmosphere from each other. If she focuses too much of her energy and resources on being a rival to a sweet shop, that will take her away from her own business and her business will suffer. That's feline economics for ya'!
I just need to find the time to draw them out. Right now, I'm working on the story for the first issue, but when I can steal a minute, I'll see what I can do...ah, but I may actually need to do the coloring for it, because I'm not too sure of the colors, just now

Temptation, thy name is... uhm, whatever her name is =~.^= She sure does seem like a very feisty and fiery kitty, with those colors and the fur pattern, and that expression on her face. And that uniform... or well, if you could call it that, it more looks, what with everything there's not like just a uni, or just a form... or maybe an unfo, or a niorm =~.^= But it does look very good!
Yes, I think I would certainly pay a visit to Brandy's place. Uhm... because I like burgers for dinner, honest! But for a delicious ice cream desert, I would still go to the Sweet Shoppe =~.^=

Well yeh, I mean, a cat's gotta eat, right? You can't live off smoothies and ice cream alone (although that would be really awesome =~.^=)

But I can tell you this; if they start served more solid dinner foods like burgers and fries and sandwiches and salads and stuff like that at the Sweet Shoppe, it would totally become my single-stop diner in town =~.^=

Ohh, that makes a lot of sense! Yes! And I like soup! =^_^= Do they have special soups too? Like things like sausage gumbo, butternut squash with garlic and cashews, borscht, Mulligatawny, Portugese black bean, oxtail, New orleans gumbo, Viennese goulash, turkey-barley... well, I could go on for a while! =~.^= It would be real interesting if they would indeed serve more kinds of 'exotic' soups besides just tomato-rice, chicken broth and veggie soup, though =~.^=
Well, unfortunately, I can say right away that garlic ANYTHING is not served here! That goes for onion ANYTHING too If the soup isn't too smelly, it's okay, like a fish soup, tomato soup with mozzarella cheese, chicken soup, vegetable soup, cream soup, clam chowder, etc

Mmm, and I really love fresh vegetable soup. I often make it myself, and it takes two whole days! I toss in a bunch of real fresh vegetables, too; none of that processed chopped up stuff you can buy in packets! =~.^= Ooo, and I would really love to try their tomato soup sometime! =^_^=

Yes! I luvs it too! My grandma made this awesomesuper tomato soup! Yum! I will definitely stop by to taste the Sweet Shoppe's tomato soup! =^_^=

Oooh! I love a good ice cream shoppe! There's a very good one down by the East River that's in, what looks like, an old lighthouse. The ice cream is homemade and the portions are VERY generous and the prices are decent, considering Believe me, I share your affinity for sweets
Well, during the school year, she would close at 7pm. When school is out, perhaps she would stay open later I grew up in a town where everything but the grocery store closed at like...7pm. Living here in New York, it's so strange to think of things shutting down THAT early! But, that's how things were where I used to live and even a few places in my neighborhood now close at around 7pm...like the meat market *grumbles* But, there's a larger grocery store down the street a few blocks away that closes at like 11pm, so I really shouldn't complain

You know, somehow, this sounds very inviting and cozy to me I was going to have the shoppe be closed on Sundays, but, now, I think they will be closed on Saturday, too Maybe they just stay open a bit later on Friday so kids can sort of party a bit, but they have the weekend off. I'm really liking this idea! *pounces and snuggles* Thank you, Sweetie!!!
The uniform definitely fits thehe business and the girl who runs it. I'd have to say you should make the model a character like a random waitress because she would fit in there. As for which place I'd choose I would have to go with the Sweet Shoppe since it has a better atmosphere nicer girls and I love sweets so much it should be a sin. It's also good to see from reading various comments that they serve more then just sweets at the Sweet Shoppe which means I'd have to haul myself out of bed and get out of the house during the day to actually make it there before they close. Of course going to Brandy's place for a burger and to look at the waitresses might be fun too
Thank you! ^_^ Truthfully, I think she may end up being a character in the shop. Her hair style may change, but I can actually see her being one of Brandy's girls.

True you would have to keep it from the girls if I visited Brandy's place but honestly I wouldn't go there very often if at all it's just not my kind of place. Plus I'd be too busy doing other stuff that late at night. So the Sweet Shoppe girls have my loyalty and patronage and they get to keep it, no sneaking around for me.
