What to do?
Jonathan wasn't the one who summoned the demon, he's just dealing with the aftermath. He does end up making a deal of sorts, just not one involving his soul. And the demon definitely gets the short end of the stick XD

I'm just gonna copy/paste this, from a drawing I haven't posted her yet:
"Some people summoned Grimnir, but freaked out and fled, 'cuz they didn't think it would actually work?! Then Jonathan shows up, to do his job, and Griminir tries tempt him to sell his soul. Unsuccessfully.
When Grimnir tries to return home instead, Jonathan blocks him and trap him. That way there's one less demon out there, right?
Grimnir eventually become so bored of being trapped in a tiny circle, that he agrees to do Jonathan housework, in return for being allowed out of the circle.
And, even if a soul is not involved, a demon is bound by his word =P "
