This one actually wasn't based on the song so much as the film The Shining. I finally watched it for the first time this month (along with the mini series adaption) and Pyro and I were amused at how Jack Nicholson's performance of Jack, with the chronic bitch face and exaggerated expressions and gestures reminded us a lot of how we envision Picard would emote. So we kept joking saying he was Picard lol So I had to draw him in the spirit of spoopy month! I gave him the giant croquet mallet the character has in the book/mini series instead of an ax.
Picard wouldn't really go berserk. But he also wouldn't really do half the things I draw him in SOOOOOO.
