It is supposed to be pouring rain but I kinda got lazy. I may add that later. In any case,

"Kami, scoot over," said Andreas to the drenched feline.

"Er, hi... what?" before she could say anything, he had sat besides her and pulled the tarp he grabbed in the FS Colonials camp over both of them. "What are you doing?"

He turned his head so he could see her with his left eye and asked, "what do you think I am doing? Getting you a bit of a cover from the rain. Now help me prop this up."

Kami looked down at the mud in front of her shoes, "you did not have to leave those nice human tents to come all the way here. I am used to being rained over. It is ok, really."

"Don't you start that bullshit in front of me, ok?" The blacknoser shrugged his head, "I could see all the way from the human camp you were here drenched and shivering. You are the first one -- human or noid -- in this crappy forgotten planet who did not act like I was some freakshow and make me feel like a person. This is the least I can do." He paused and stared towards the Colonials camp, "besides, I would rather stay in the rain with my people than sit nice and cozy with those idiots." Because he turned his head, Andreas did not know his last sentence made the girl blush. Without saying anything, she propped the tarp with her staff.

For a while they did not say anything. Then he muttered, "if I had planned this right I would have brought a towel or something for you. You are probably still freezing you ass out."

She smiled, "for some reason I feel much warmer now."
