After we get totally soaked, I take pity on the shivering Anton (the poor guy has no insulation, after all; I have fur but Anton has only his skin) and decide to return to shore. However, this turns out to be harder than it sounds: the bank is incredibly slippery, and my paws and belly become coated with mud during the endeavor. A lack of fur once again impedes the dragon: his smooth toes make it difficult to hold onto the slick mud; he has to resort to clamping down on my tail and letting me haul him out.
