I told my pillowing staff if they go get their flu shots I'll give them all a myo pillowing slot. Earlier that day I got my own flu shots!
Because I do not have to take a "live" version of the vaccine, it's same even with my immune-compromised health. I much rather have a sore arm for couple of weeks than have to go through the process of getting sick, getting REALLY sick, hospitalization, then recovery and PT. When I get sick, it's pretty much a six month marathon of sucking. Back in ND I was more often sick than healthy and unable to make any progress with being alive.
I'm just very unlucky health wise, the last few times I even get a minor bug it turns into pneumonia and we've been scolded for not "coming in sooner" for treatments. Always trying to avoid the med debt! But as I get older I know it's not worth the risk and will go in for any treatments, preventive like flu shots, or at the first sign of a coughing. Those damn chest infections take ages to get over...
So please be supportive of your local disabled and elderly communities around you. Be considerate and go get your flu shot as soon as possible! If you live in Madison WI? YOU BETTER BE GETTING YOUR SHOTS!!! I don't want to get sick! ;0;
To show off the reward of a new pillowing, I decided to wing-up a gift pillowing for my partner Prov! He owns a lot of large sized pillowings, so I thought it was about time for him to get a palm-sized cutie. A kit sized chipmunk theme!! His name is Popper and he's a little terror.
For my personal design of a pillowing, I decided to also go for a critter theme. Only I was inspired to try doing The Black Rabbit of Inle! At least in the spirit of him anyway, a beautiful black rabbit pillowing with a gorgeous blood red moon always at his shoulder... Hehe, I really like how he came out! He's a standard size and I'll have to think of a good home for him to watch over. C:
Note to self, I need to think of heart tokens for these two as well!
