Well here's what would happen if a furry spider like him found his prey during his bounty hunting days, he vores them whole and his victims would be inside his belly where he can digest them whole one by one, so if he ever feels someone rubbing his belly while he is digesting them he might either feel angry or appreciated about it. But he has six hands so he might rub his own belly in various ways just like if he were to massage himself, so he is his own comfort zone and when he is in his own comfort zone he is happy to what he was doing.
