Before getting to the rest of the description: I announced this in a journal, but I have a Twitter now! Because of the quick and simple nature of Twitter, I'm hoping to be a little more active there, and I'm planning to share more stuff, such as small sketches, old sketches, and etc. I think I might even post images up there before I post them to FA (since long descriptions isn't really a thing for Twitter lol)! I'm not gonna lie, this was kinda just thrown together, but I wanted to get something spooky out for today ^^
You may be wondering, though, what's going on here? My boi Gerald is here, but who could be that on the right? They look familiar, I wonder why...? ;P
Well, I'm not gonna hide anything, that is indeed Gerald on the right! It's a wip design for his "intended" form. Yeah, Gerald was never meant to be the shy, chubby wolf guy he is today <:3
And I don't mean I intended Gerald to be a monster from the beginning. From a story standpoint, Gerald used to be a human, but was subjected to an experiment which transformed him into a wolf. In losing his humanity, he also lost his past self, and as part of the experiment he was planned to be conditioned and turned into the monster you see at the right. Of course, things didn't go quite as planned for the people behind the experiment! … the thing is though, at the same time, the Gerald at the right is also technically a different Gerald! Yeah, he's also a separate character. I won't get into it much now (since I don't want to explain how I imagine the World works in my characters' universe), but basically that is Negative Gerald, who is most simply described as Gerald's "dark" counterpart. They're form is what Gerald was meant to be, but why could this be? Who knows?
But anyway, enough of my silly lore stuff. Thank you all for your continued support, and thank you all for being patient with me <:3
