Obsidianna finally gets a visual revamp/redesign and here it is! She now has a bit more of a kind of punky look to her which was my initial idea with her. Thoughts on it?

The researcher had been travelling for a little over a week now without finding any new Pokemon to catalog. There were rumors around here that there was a strange, shadowy and demonic Absol however that they had claimed to uncover. Something that unique was certainly worth finding and seeing if it’s real or not, the committee would kill for something that rare to be confirmed!. They weren’t exactly sure if this was anything more than someone seeing things in the darkness of the woods or not, but at worst it was an excuse to step away from everything else in life. At best, a unique type of Pokemon to mark down.



Inside the woods, it was calm. The occasional sound of wildlife filling the breeze. Eventually they reached a clearing, a few fallen trees decorated the area, with a single stump. The stump was adorned by the Absol claimed to exist from before. Obsidianna, enjoying nature and some fresh air. The researcher walked up, introducing themselves and explaining their purpose. To take pictures and catalog all the variations of Pokemon, due to how incredibly diverse they are, while learning about other pokemon cultures too. Some sort of sociological expedition they said.



They asked to take a few pictures of her for the record book and to answer some questions too. With a reluctant agreement from the Absol, they took a few pictures of her. After the initial pictures and questions, they asked for a second set of pictures, this time of her paws. During the picture shoot the researcher couldn’t help but notice that they seemed different than those of other digitigrade Absol, that it would be best to have a capture of them. They offered her a small bit of money to compensate for the time taken for the extra pictures. In reality, it was for their secondary collection they’ll be releasing and selling on the internet to make some extra profit. To help others in more… personal research.
