It's funny, every time I make coffee or tea, or pour Dr. Pepper etc into a styrofoam cup, my Dog Ducky is "What'cha got there?"
Usually followed by "Ew, how can you drink that shit?"
The other night I filled my cup with ice water.
Sniff....Slurp slurp slurp....

Our male Maui actually begs Gloria's ice water after dinner... he actually doesn't even bother to ask anymore...

thats where my pup is a bit odd. he wont touch brewed coffee but if I spill any grounds I never have to grab a broom because he'll swoop right in to clean them up himself.

Around here we call that mooching. I don't drink coffee, but Sage will mooch soup when I fix some to warm up. She has learned she gets some goodies when she is patient and lays down out of the way. I had some curry rice with chicken, last night the plate was licked clean.

*laughs... mine get the licks every night - helps me clean the dishes...

I'm sometimes amazed by the things the cats will consume, if only out of curiosity (they are cats, after all.) All three of ours have nommed single kernels of corn with gusto.

And Kona is positootly adorbs. I'd make any beverage she desired if she looked at me like that.

lol oh no! The dreaded puppy eyes! I know the one Maltese who passed this year used to be hilarious when he begged, because he'd hop up on your thigh, and squeeze his paws like he was massaging or kneading your leg, and he'd look up with this desperate look of "You either give me the food, or I continue to make this uncomfortable for the both of us." lol and if that didn't work, he'd wink at you.

lol yeah, he was a real character! And he had this very bad underbite which made him look like he was smiling or very VERY caveman-annoyed at any given moment lol.

Good grief, I had no idea husky muzzles were so loooong! I'm very happy that you and Gloria were able to give them such a loving home.
