Everything happened so fast, in a rush Dexter's head fully transformed into that of a gryphon’s. He shifted his attention to his tail still growing behind him, moving it around, it felt much stranger than he was used to. The tail wasn’t the only limb however, his newly formed wings grew out more and more, and with it he started to feel something changing inside of him. His bones started to hollow out, his body getting much lighter than it used to be. He was now ready for flight.
As he tried to speak all that came out were ‘Caws’ and ‘Screes’.
"Okay... as funny as you sound you aren’t able to talk normally anymore. But you can use your new vocal cords to form words, just concentrate on using your sounds instead of your lips." Pickit explained to him, eyes still with watery from laughing.
"Thatk ko weird" Dexter tried to talk with his new beak.
"You’ll get used to it.”
Pickit couldn't wait for his friend’s transformation to be over, being exited on showing him the joys of being a gryphon
