So for a class we're doing a huge 18" x 28" painting. So this was my idea. Unfortunately I'm a really, really shitty painter so you'll get to see how bad it turned out when I photograph it.

I wouldn't call 18x28 "huge," personally. Looks neat, though!

Ohhh, that's bigger, haha. I was gonna say, we're doing ~20x30 paintings in my class, and they're not particularly large.

With the amount of detail you could go into (or even leave abstractly plain), I bet it's gonna turn out pretty awesome. :D I think the negative space in the center helps turn the eye around the drawing. Hope that translates to painted as well!

My old housemate worked at 12' by 8' .___.

He did one 30' by 8' - it was pretty big, put it in Shunt.

great moody scene! reminds me a little of akira for whatever reason, and i haven't seen the movie since a 2nd grade substitute teacher traumatized us with it.
