My Halloween project for this year. A POV comic and experimenting without using lines. (Save me time to get this done ;p) So this was just a sketch with me colouring over it after. Like how I normally do backgrounds anyway
I know a lot of setting the scene for these panels but trust me when the show has just begun
The night fell faster than expected as the woods quickly became pitch black. Only the sounds of our own steps and the pokemon wandering in the night. Taking out a flashlight we are able to see some soft steps in the dirt road from the other travellers from that day. However as the path went on the pattern changed. The calm shallow steps grew deeper and spread out. The walking feet turned to a sprinters.
There were rumours about a monster that wanders these woods and even more about some trainers vanishing in the night. Maybe these travellers heard a random noise from the bushes and got a bit too nervous to stay in the woods much longer.
"AAAHHHHHHHH!!!" a piercing scream rang out through the woods. Surely this was a prank by some others taking advantage of the legend. Being stuck half way in the woods turning back would make no difference than going forward.
It wasn't until a few more twists down the path that the footprints of the humans just ended and replaced by a print 5 times the size pounded deep in the dirt. The tracks continued until they veered off into a clearing with a welcome mat of trampled bushes and knocked down trees. "Help M-mmph"
"NOOOOOOOO!!" Two voices shout out from the clearing. One of them you remember from just a few minutes ago
If this was a prank they went all out, and if not.... slowly and cautiously entering the clearing you notice that their was no noise, the screaming, the nocturnal pokemon living in the woods.... nothing. Turning around to leave as there was seemingly no one in the clearing is when a large paw swings down from overhead. Only a quick glimpse can be seen before your vision goes black. The silence broken by the sound of the paw slamming into you head and a soft thud as you land flat on the ground
