one of the many pics i drew while at BCT. This is me (left) my new char Snipes (right) and a random char (middle) sitting around at meal time having MREs. This is pretty much what meal time looked like if we weren't in the chow hall; we'd sit in groups on the ground and talked tell our Drill sargents told us to shut up LOL

Ex Army here. Spent 9 months in the Gulf during Operation Desert Storm. Not exactly a safe place to be, but then, there are parts of Wash. DC I have been thru that made me worry more.
Anyway, a salute to those over there currently. While many dont understand now, or refuse to understand, we are doing right, even if a lot of our fellow countrymen dont, and especially the rest of the world - people who live and hide under the bed have a unique view on the way the world works. Time will suss this out.
