Ever wonder why Ven's right eye is red? Technically it illuminates when he's mad.
But in this case, it was an inner struggle of his, or rather my, repressed negative emotions trying to surface and eventually taking over, turning me into the monster I don't wish to be, and losing the battle. Keeping those emotions inside for too long eats you away, yet I let it happen. With the darkness out, the person you once knew is in the shadows instead...

I wanted to take the Slot as it gave me the golden opportunity to showcase this side of Ven I'd ever rarely have made, and opening up to my constant inner demons. What solidified this idea even more was a particular song. "Shinedown - Monsters" as one particular verse symbolized this piece more than I ever could

"And there's no comin' back and they just laughed at how I feel
And these monsters can fight, and they'll never say die
And there's no goin' back, if I get trapped I'll never heal
