Thank you for the criticism I'm glad you cared and that this was a real constructive criticism and I'd love to hear future criticisms from you but here are my counter points. (just because who knows maybe it'll help you out or well pick different stylistic routes and thats okay too <3) I don't like using green in atmospheric light for multiple reasons first of all being forests don't actually make everything green tinted, mind you as artists we like to make atmospheric lighting over the top anyways- but I just have to start it off with its not real so no matter what option you choose it cant be wrong its just style. Then I have two reasons that add to that and the first one is green tends to make things either look sickly or off-putting, you'll notice in a lot of horror films they tend to put a green tint or in many video games the green tinted areas are basically all sickly desolated lands or gassy sewers/mad scientist layers. And the final thing is green in shadows of a character have to be very desaturated and tend to make the piece look a little muddy in the shadows which is why they tend to give that sickly feel. Because for some reason very desaturated blues and pinks and purples look nice but desaturated greens look unsettling.
