“It is impossible not to hurt someone. Humans unconsciously hurt others by simply existing. Whether you are alive or dead, you keep hurting people…”
"I have learned never to let my guard down...because that is when we are most vulnerable, physically and emotionally. And that only leads to being disappointed by the ones you thought cared about you..." she wistfully said as she held the blade up to his neck.
Though there was sorrow and anguish in her voice, her expression was unmoved as she prepared to finish him off. While she was usually not one to lash out based on her emotions, this time she was willing to make an exception. She was sick of being hurt and lied to. Convincing him to meet up with her in the nearby forest, where they could be alone and talk, she lulled him into a false sense of security. Then-
Brandishing the sword at his face, she merely watched his reaction. It had been a trap!
He KNEW he could not outrun her as he had seen her chase down faster men than himself without breaking a sweat!. Nor would it do any good to try and fight her. He knew saying or doing the wrong thing would easily mean the death of him in an instance. At that point, he did the only thing he could think of that might save his life-
"Gomen." Dropping to the ground in pitiable display, he knelt in front of her. He figured he would try, or hope, she would be willing to forgive him for his behavior and how he treated her.
Shaking her head, she looked down at him and frowned. "You are not even worth killing...at least not today. Now get out of my sight before I change my mind."
While she was still livid, she knew he was not worth staining her sword over.
Perhaps she would send her friend Whisper after him instead…she would enjoy killing such scum. A smirk crossed her lips as she watched him scurry away like the rat that he was-
Yes, Amelia would get her revenge soon enough…
Hell hath no fury like a mad woman.
While Amelia typically has a calm, quiet temperament, there are certain things she has absolutely no tolerance for- being manipulated and lied to being one of them, especially by men.
Oh well, if you're going to die, at least it is going to be a beautiful death.
An absolutely gorgeous piece by Cashile. I have been wanting to commission him to draw Amelia for ages and I was not disappointed in the least! I highly recommend working with him; he does phenomenal human art and needless to say, I will be getting more art from him again. Thank you so much again~
