This didnt even fall in the realm, let alone ballpark, of "mischevious". It was downright asinine. If you cant appreciate art for what it is: be it gay, straight, bi, general, mature or adult, then save yourself your fallen image and simply DONT COMMENT. I had this done as a gift sketch for my mate, and you, with your antics, really just made my mood plummet even lower than I already felt from being sick as a dog with a cold that my mate accidentally passed on to me...

I take no offense to what he said. Comments like that don't really bother me most of the time. I know he probably didn't mean it, but give him a break.

Also, that would be her, not his. I tend to take more offense to the whole 'getting called a wrong gender' than I do with than with some comments. Not taking an offense to it atm, though, so please keep in mind that I am female. =/

Assumed you were a guy, because of everything I have seen of what I presume is your character in your gallery having a penis. Plus, nowhere do you list that you are a girl.

If you want to get uber-technical, and say "With a name like Nikki"...I have a very close friend here at CalArts, a male violinist, who's name is also Nikki, so Nikki can be a girl or guy's name. So, adding in with that androgynous name of Niiki, and the pletora of penis I have seen attached to your character, how could I not have assumed you were a guy to begin with? If you take offense to that, knowing how I came to this conclusion, I find that pretty upsetting. From now on, I'll know you are female, but up to this point, I was completely, 100%, under the impression you were male.

I did have that I was a chick with a dude persona a while back on my FA page.

I prefer having a male based persona technically because I find males easier to draw and I have more of a tomboyish personality. Although honestly if I was a male I doubt I'd actually have a female persona.

But seeing as how you've been confused I might have to put that I'm a female in my profile once again to prevent further confusion.

Its his legal given name, and he's not the first guy I ever have known named Nikki either. Either way, that assumption is now cleared--since I never knew you back when you had that posted on your page, which you dont anymore.
