I decided to draw a realistic nem, just because. Keicoe fairies are animal fairies, so they look like animals, but even if you ignore the strange wings, antennae and brightly colored coats, they don’t quite look like regular animals. With the weight of their wings, they can walk upright with no trouble, and have more than capable paws with opposable thumbs. It’s eerie to enounter one in the wild, should it be bold enough to allow you to see it… not because of their posture, but because of the uncanny approximation of human speech they’ll greet you with and the uncomfortable way their smiles clash with their otherwise expressionless little faces. About the size of a large fox, they stand at about three feet upright, but are considerably lighter than they appear, weighing in at 30lbs at the most.
