Here's more of furry questionable examples. ^^; But hey! There's birds in this one. XP

This is a clock cut from red oak and finished with linseed oil. My dad is a commercial hot air balloon pilot and owns a hot air balloon, well... a few and one partially, but we really only fly the one and the partial. ^^; It's complicated. In any case. a friend of mine in the scroll saw club I belong to gave me this pattern so I made it for my father for a christmas/birthday present. I showed it to him on christmas and finished it for his birthday, which we celebrated yesterday, the 30th of january. I bought the clock insert from a supplier and had a bit of trouble getting it to stay in the hole I had drilled... Lesson learned, drill only once you have the clock to measure. :/ Still I jury rigged it and got it to fit snugly. I like how it came out and it wasn't too difficult either.
