Looking over a series of artifacts, antiques, devices, and doodads, WulfBane takes notice of a green hourglass medallion on a matching cord. Whoever labeled the thing must have bad handwriting because it looked like it was called an “Omnilet”.

Not knowing what was coming over him, the brown wolf was suddenly compelled to put it on. A green aura enveloped WulfBane as an alien sensation permeated his body as the amulet secured itself around his neck. His paws grew into long sharp claws covered in grey fur. His torso bellowed out as his pecs strengthened and shoulders broadened. More grey fur sprouted elsewhere on his body as the muscle growth spread to his swelling arms.

He gave a flex and admired how his enhanced biceps peaked while coarse dark grey fur was progressing its way up his neck. Soon the changes were engulfing his head and face while his outfit was changing to something more suitable to his new form.

When the wave of transformation finally subsided, WulfBane opened his now glowing green eyes. He looked with marvel at his new form. The full mane if fur encapsulating his grey lupine head. The elongated torso, barrel chest, and wide shoulders. The massive arms equipped with powerful muscles and deadly claws. The stocky legs with the strength to support his heavy frame but also the agility to leap and dash with surprising speed. All of this was finished off by a full bushy tail of dark grey fur.

A voice echoed directly in his mind, seeming to originate from the amulet that had bonded to him and worn as a collar. There was still so much to take in but what he could gather was he was now a Loboan. That and the name “Blitzwolfer” seemed like a fitting name for his new identity.

So I’m sure it would come to no surprise that of the alien forms feature in the various incarnations of Ben 10, Benwolf/Blitzwolfer would be the one I would naturally gravitate to the most. I completely understand why he didn’t get as much air time as the others since it didn’t really excel at any one thing that would be needed over the more specialized aliens. But it was also pretty fun seeing the other Loboan designs when they did the monster planets stretch of episodes.

And while the name was kind of meh, the Omniverse Blitzwolfer design is certainly the best looking when you want your werewolves to be big, fluffy, and imposing.
