What happened? Adel's arms took a severe beating and Nyarai's legs took none while giving the beating...

I hope this is a fake move by Adel leaving herself open to sucker Nyarai into leaving herself open to a brutal attack and put Nyarai down and shut her up.

I don't think "fake" so much as preparing to both accept and dish out a lot of pain.

My guess? Adel's going to ignore defense, and accept whatever damage needed to mess Nyarai up. Possibly killing one or both of them.

What's up with all you guys rooting for someone to get killed. Seriously, its been 10~20 pages that people be like "Nyarai will die" or "Adel will die".
I seriously doubt Dai is gonna kill one of these characters... we are seeing an WWE fight not a Coliseum match afterall.

Word! And Nyarai is the villainess, is her jib to be despicable and evil and menacing. Remeber is not Adelgund role to defeat Nyarai, is Muko in future that will challenge and defeat Nyarai.
This arc not only gave Muko a de facto old mentor in the shape of Adelgund, not only let our dumb bunny grow a bit, but also gave her a nemesis, who now has a n "history" with her. Muko and Nyarai are doomed to fight against each other at some point in the future but when will that happen would be a different Muko the savage cat will face.

I think I understand a little what you said. I know in the future Muko and Nyarai will face each other in a brutal battle just like Goku vs Frieza.

I never said or indicated anything about killing, only a very thorough beat down just like our own WWE, WWF does nothing more.

I am not ROOTING for someone to die. The tone of the story suggests that there will be a grievous injury, and possibly a sacrifice, bu Adel. Maybe life, maybe just honor/reputation.

I think Nyarai was using her claws, which I think would be a No-no in the ring. Otherwise, such a tiny cat would not be able to do more than minor surface damage to a such a huge dog. So Adelgund's arms are not merely beat up but cut up badly.

The next page came up and Adel's arms have no claw marks so we're still left with what the heck did happen. :-P

I'm not trying to start and arugment. Just trying to sort out what happened.

It strikes me that Nyarai may be using an esoteric martial art that, combined with her contortionist's body, allows her to use the limbs not unlike whips. This is a very high risk art, as missing or hitting something harder that a person, can cause a LOT of self harm. If she hit a ring post, for example, Nyarai could easily destroy her own leg.

However, Nyarai would be able to hit far above her weight class, granting her the appearance of unnatural or supernatural strength. This would account for such a relatively tiny cat to do so much damage to a such a huge dog.

I just saw the most recent page which answered the question of whether or not she used claws and up until then I thought the same about her using claws to cause more damage than smacking her arms with her foot/feet.

With this kind of wrestling/fighting you just may be right.

Kinda like how a lightweight like Bruce Lee could take down folks bigger than he was.

Nyarai seems to be turning something into a creepy feral monster cat.

Also I am rather mystified by the smoke/steam effects.

Well, guess Adelgund is giving Muko some advice on how to become a Combagal before Nyarai finishes her off. And Nyarai looks like she's charging for her final attack due to the shape of her aura, the smoke coming out of her, and her expanding muscles making her look like a demon.

Okay, now I think Nyarai’s more of an actual demon then an undead zombie.

She's evil, she lies, she can trick others very excellently, she delights in being violent, she can psychologically freak out people, she's a mad contortionist and change her body in creepy ways. Yeah, that theory fits.

She also fights DIRTY. For a combat sport predicated on TNA, using Claws should be a No-no. Nyarai is fast and no one will doubt it. But physics has its limits, and she should not be able to so seriously harm Adelgund, unless she is using the claws on her feet. Attacking so fast almost no one is going to catch it. But with all the refs looking the other way, no one would call it anyway.

As pissed as Adelgund was during the match, she went out of her way to crush Peki's limbs for real, it makes NO sense that she would suddenly play up someone literally trying to kill her on her feet. Either that or the characterizations are just way yonder all over the place.
