Another entry in my collection of SCP-inspired creations - using the fourth prompt in the 30-Monster-Challenge - “Naga.”
Subject: BA-XX76
This anomaly was discovered near a remote village in Thailand, where it was being cared for by locals who regarded it as a sacred creature. Since its acquisition, it has adapted well to its current containment facility. Containment consists of a large climate-controlled enclosure designed to replicate its tropical native environment, with the addition of an artificial cave appropriately sized to serve as a sleeping area. Prey items should be introduced to the enclosure once per week - a preference for live prey has been noted - with variety in size and type. Any personnel entering the enclosure must state their presence and the purpose of their visit upon entry.
Each head is fully sentient and capable of independent thought and speech, and they are often observed quietly conversing with each other when not involved in direct conversation with personnel. They have been noted to speak in a mixture of dialects from Southeast Asia, as well as scattered English since its relocation, and an as-of-yet unidentified language. Most of its conversations seem to consist of almost child-like gossip and commentary regarding individuals - including information that was never disclosed to it. By extension, it is fully aware whenever it is being lied to. Due to the informational hazard that this represents, only certain individuals are allowed to interact with this anomaly. Note: Special care should be taken if and when it expresses a desire to “play,” as it often underestimates its physical capabilities, resulting in the injury of personnel.
As it enjoys - and even requests - regular interaction, several conversations have taken place since its containment. Through these dialogues, staff have learned a number of things about the anomaly itself, including its age (104 years at the time of recording), individuals it has known throughout its life, and that it originated from what it simply refers to as “Mother.” When questioned further about this last topic, it gave surprisingly few details, aside from that she is “vast as the waters.” Further research is ongoing.
As before, let me know what you think, or if you have any other ideas for a creature such as this.

I don't see what's so strange about a nice pair of cute young snake boys. They seem perfectly normal to me! :D <333
Hahaha, but really, I like how simple this one is. They're still creepy, though, given the childlike look and 'innocence' juxtaposed with the blood and the 'preference for live prey' and the apparent instant mind-reading. :} Oh, and the accidents based on them not knowing their own strength. >__>
Also, the idea of twins who 'want to play' makes me hearken back to the twin ghost girls in The Shining, which is always a good way to add some spookiness!
Still, I wanted to say how I appreciate that some specimens seem to enjoy their new environment. Not all of them would instantly be violent. But we have to wonder if they like it because they like the audience [they perhaps like to be worshiped, and this constant human contact and observation probably feels a bit like reverence to them], or if they truly enjoy human contact.
I should also say: They look fabulous! Great work illustrating them. <:
