• Biography: Celandine is a Numan, an artificially made human of high intelligence, created by Junichiro after a visit to the Phantasy Star universe and learning of the Numan race. Celandine comes from the classic line of Numen, there her appearance and age are rather different as she is genetically younger than she looks. In Celandine’s case, she genetically appears as, and is legally treated as, a grown woman of 18 years, but she is technically only a decade old. Celandine’s creation began sometime after Juni & Palutena had their twin ½ mermen sons, and the twins Chorale & Elegy a week after. With all he researched prior (and the project funded by Queen Serenity), Juni was able to get Celandine stable and grown steadily as time went on. Helping him was Irmalinda, who was excited for when Celandine would be released from her nursing capsule. Originally, Juni intended to implant some genie blood into Celandine to make her capable of using magic. However, Irmalinda instead grabbed slime girl DNA and added it to the remaining 25% genetic make up that had yet to be filled. When Juni discovered this, it was far too late to stop the infusion, resulting in a Numan with 75% human genetics, and 25% slime genetics. Juni had considered starting over but overruled his own decision as Celandine will be perfect no matter what. When she was released, she far exceeded Juni’s expectations and was soon subjected to learning about the world in which she was born in, and of the multiverse as a whole. At first, she felt insecure about being around other people due to her origins but was nonetheless warmly accepted into society as a whole due to Olympia’s strict anti-discrimination policy. She even got warm reception in the Phantasy Star universe where Numen thrive through-out. Even so, Celandine offered to help in protecting the multiverse in any way possible. Even if said evil comes from Dark Force. Celandine is a friendly & playful individual and enjoys being part of the action whenever action is present. However, she does tend to be somewhat naïve for all her intelligence suggests. Once, she asked why she doesn’t age like everyone else does, and if her breasts are even real (Which they are). She loves to be around children and is an avid animal lover. As she tends to get hot in very warm areas, she avoids saunas as much as possible. The best at geography.
• Abilities: Having 25% slime DNA doesn’t seem all that interesting, but Celandine is able to make full use of it either way. She can morph her limbs and whole body into slime at any given moment, but due to her DNA consisting of only 25% slime, the process to turn her whole body slimy is a slow one, and the change only lasts for 5 hours at most. Celandine is unable to wear heavy armor but makes up for it by being able to wear vests which are just as strong but don’t hinder Celandine in the slightest. She can only equip claws as her main weapon but makes up for this by being a good user of both offensive, and supportive techniques. As far as headgear is concerned, she prefers ribbons because to her: “Ribbons are super cute”. Her starting gear and techniques are as follows.
o Ribbon: A cute hair ribbon. Defense +3
o 2 Claws: One handed weapons made of sharpened titanium.
o Vest: A lightweight, slime-proof vest.
o Res: Heals 1 ally for 16 plus the caster’s mental stat. Ineffective on androids.
o Anti: Cures poison from 1 ally.
o Foi: Casts Fire damage to 1 enemy.
o Wat: Casts Ice damage to 1 enemy.
o Zan: Casts Physical damage to all enemies.
