Piyoko met Haneko when they were both about 8 years old, and since then, the shy little Java sparrow has practically idolized her. In fact, she's in love with her! But being such a meek, worried girl, she can never seem to get the confession out. What she does do, however, is spend as much time as she can with Haneko when she's not busy studying, which is when she's at her happiest. Her hope is that someday, Haneko will take notice of how much like a couple they've been behaving, and that she'll decide to be Piyoko's girlfriend. Until then, Piyoko remains Haneko's dear friend who tries and fails to talk her and their other friends out of all kinds of activities that tend to land them in strange and interesting situations!
