Over the summer I came out as asexual. Since then things finally make sense to me. Why growing up I wasn't interested in sex or being in a relationship. People always told me that I just haven't found the right person, or I wasn't even trying. Some even told me that there was something wrong with me and I was just a waste... Because of that I always believed that there was something wrong with me. Recently, people have told me that there was nothing wrong. I'm asexual. With a history of being called bad names and such, I took it as an offense.

But I've come to terms with who I am, and I'm happy with my choices. I'm happy I can say that there is nothing wrong with me. I'm happy to call myself ace. I'm happy that I'm not alone and there are other people like me.

I recently discovered that there is even a week dedicated to people on the asexual spectrum. So, I wanted to draw my sona, who is asexual just like me.
