We're friends
though i know its fairly new
i still want to make your birthday
special for you
so many friends
some with money
some without
some with a special
way to stand out
thinking and racking
my over used brain
i try to find a way to reach you
without going insane
the more i think
the more i try
the more obvious it becomes
no money to spare
art not near as good as some
i make this poem
just to make you smile
i love you kimmy
and all that you've done
to help and encourage
help my budding self esteem
happy birthday kimmy
i hope this day
turns out to be
as special as you
