I fail to grasp what you're asking, as my understanding was that chaos and entropy were synonyms, in a way.

That's what I get for not paying attention to my definitions. If one doesn't consider chaos to be infinite, then yes, entropy (which is finite) would be the same thing.

I'm actually aiming more to convey my thoughts upon the more "human" side of entropy.
I'm enamoured with the concept in philosophical/metaphysical terms, rather than exclusively in the physical, thermodynamic sort of field of study.
However, as a hardcore antiexistentialist who might or might not be going insane, the two seem inextricably entwined.

A year ago, I would have agreed with that, save for one word. I would have changed "beautifully" to "terrifyingly."
Now, however, I would say I agree wholeheartedly.

That's the thing about staring into the abyss on the edge of matter and comprehension. At first it's terrifying, but then you realize it's nothing that wasn't there all along and it's no more menacing than a sunset.

This time I would only be able to agree with you to a certain degree.
I still live in perpetual terror of everything, but nowadays I rather enjoy being scared.
