In the world of Arune it is not a rare event for magic to backfire. Upon when a spell backfires or is casted wrong the caster will find themself under a pile of screaming faced carrots that simply scream 'CAROT!' who have happened to have landed on top of them.

The carrots do go away after a while and poof back into the nothingness from where they came but other things can happen when magic backfires.
