Basically, Aure (the girl) has just come home from a very traumatizing series of events, and the prince (Mr. Fist here) has discovered that not only did she spend time with, help, and sleep with a person from the species that is their mortal enemy, she's in LOVE with the creature.

Dark elves HATE dragoons. But Aure's in love with one. And might even be carrying his child.

So here we see the great general of the dark elf army, Lady Aurelianus, in a very depressed and reclusive state, confronted by the prince about her affairs, who poses the question, "Does anyone else know?"
