Raised in an orphanage, Syrie never knew her parents. She lived at one of the Temples of Arielle and was abucted by the Cult of the Dead Gods who thougth of her as the reincarnation of the Goddess of Rage, Axias, to whom Syrie looked like her twin. Brainwashed to think of herself as the dead entity, Syriadel escaped as a young adult to live with a group of nomad Faryd and later on to be an apprentice engineer under the guidance of a Dwarf.

Sometimes, she wonders if she really is a new Axias, and yearns for a mother's embrace.
