Here's an interesting weave you can make out of Byzantine chain.

14 gauge steel wire, with 5/16 inch rings.

Thanks. It took a little work to figure it out, but it was simple enough after that.

The closures are fine, the ends are just pointed because of my snips.

Hehe, yup. A lot cheaper that way, and it takes up more of my extra time. Helps keep me out of trouble. :P

There's just something about starting with straight wire and ending up with armor and jewelry. By the way, I don't even use a single power tool. :D
