also hey hey if you have diamond, pearl, or platinum you should totally drop by a gamestop; there's an event going on right now to pick up the pikachu-colored pichu ( aka a special shiny pichu ) and if you don't evolve it until you get silver / gold and then trade it over, you'll be able to get the notch-eared pichu :O
