Inktober/chilltober day 21: Wind.
The wind at the sea while Tigfany, the tiger shark mermaid, enjoys the view. I chosed her for this day's inktober because today, a year ago, my soulsister and best friend, the artist  anael_marsw passed away after a three years long battle with cancer. She fought with all her strength and keeping a smile on her face whenever she was with her loved ones so they wouldn't worry. It was curious for me to discover that, in this year's inktober, day 21 theme was wind. She was a wind/air sign (Aquarius) and she passed away day 21. I took it as a signal of her, saying "don't worry, I'll be there for you, all of you, forever, so keep on, keep drawing, keep smiling, you are not alone!".

She was the one who gave me the idea of making a series of unusual mermaids and cute animals made of ice cream, that's how the Weirdmaids and the Penguinscoops came to be, knowing that I love mermaids and ice cream, that's the reason I challenged myself to use only them for the chilltober. So I dedicate this piece to her, and choosed Tigfany because she was her favourite of my weirdmaids.
To be honest, I miss her, yes, but at the same time I feel like she is still there and caring for all of us loved ones. I still cry but I also smile, knowing that she is at rest and now free of any pain. Free like the wind.
