By accident, Shatter and Dropkick switched bodies. Because of it, they've had to be their opposite gender and have different abilities until they switched back. Until they were back to their own bodies, they both had to show each other how to do this and that since well, they had no idea. Shatter caught on with "things" Dropkick typically needs to do but he on the other hand was having trouble living in her body. She has tried to help him how do the things she typically does but he was not having it. So when they had an emergency to go to and had to be there quick, Dropkick insisted to Shatter that he would be fine and wait until later but he was very wrong. After a running for a little while, he finally understood what she mean't by "her problems" and that it was that she had a small bladder, because of this, he slowed down and tried calming his full Mare Bladder. But that has failed and yelled to Shatter who was sprinting ahead, about his problem but she didn't want to listen and kept on running, in her head, she's frustrated that he didn't listen and now there's no time. With this, she quickly tells him to just pee right there because a lot of times when she is in a desperate situation, she does it right on the spot. Dropkick is not satisfied with her answer but by how his now Mare Bladder was aching and being fairly desperate, he had no other option.

Since they're switched, the opposite ponies who are in the thought cloud are actually the ponies who are in their bodies at the moment so that means it actually themselves thinking about those things, not scenarios or anything. And also, I know they have wings and fly but being in different bodies, they don't know how to use their flight abilities because one of them is too powerful and the other is too slow so that's why they are running instead. In general, they don't have control of each other's abilities unless they were in their own bodies of course.
