that be Scabrous i been tring to re-create what he did for his suit specially the lifelike face tails claws not too much for the armor but yea its a long process to make one as fine as he did though after contacting him he won't do a commission lol so gotta try myself

*chuckles* Yeah, I first encountered him on Live Journal as Foofers and Helvetica Bold. He was the one who'd pointed out that we shared a birthday- I thought that was pretty neat, and said so. Then he said that I didn't quite understand: we share the same day, month AND year... Just awesome. So I probably bug him a little more than he likes as a result. *blushes*

Yush, Scabrous Vermicelli is the sweetest guy in person, too. He and I have discovered that, by some bizarre coincidence, he and I share a birthday. Nothing weird there, until you learn that not only is it the same day and month , it's the SAME YEAR- we were born maybe two hours apart.... and we're both dragons. How cool is THAT?

I dunno why he doesn't do commissions, because that guy could seriously make a living making masks like that. Art in general, really- he's that good. But I think he's got some kind of job that takes up much of his time, and possibly his creativity, so he only does builds like this for his own amusement. I'm just speculating, there. We don't know each other that well- but we both had a giggle over the birthday thing.

I don't know who made the armour for him- he told me, but I've forgotten. But, damn, that's some tasty work...

So sorry I couldn't help with the EL wire, but my dexterity is so unbelievably bad with that costume on! Was genuinely worried about damaging/igniting your fursuit head with the soldering iron, else I absolutely would've taken the time.
