Kind of a fun challenge. A custom "Underrail" portrait for my stealth character, based off Meandraco's character Nkaanmykiunsuns from his "Teraurge."

Done with upmost respect for the creator's character. Translating her most noteworthy features to a human face was a fun exercise, but I'm not certain I got what I was looking for. It was a little tough juggling my own artstyle, something that wouldn't look out of place with the existing portraits and their look, and the already difficult objective itself. In hindsight the whole thing is actually a little sacrilegious.

It was also something of a lesson in what happens when you size down an image; most of what I was doing and the little details I was fretting about get lost, and you just have to redo them anyway on the small sprite to make what you want pop out.

The smallest portrait in the center is the in-game version, while the "hooded" ones at the bottom I like a lot and did after as a test, but felt like it was "cheating" the purpose of what I set out to do.
