Faint managed to time his commission delivery with my birthday and of that i am extremely grafteful. ❤️700 years ago, superstition of the song ruled. It was a time of chori, it was a world of breves, it was the age of gargoyles. Stone by day, singers by night. Betrayed by the humans she had sworn to sing for. Frozen in stone by a magic spell for seven hundred years years. Now the spell is broken! AND SHE LIVES AGAIN!! She is the singer that will hammer you with the song of the night! She is Philepetra!
As usual... punny "nomen omen" Philepetra means both "Stone Lover" buuut also "sledgehammer" 😂👍💖
Is she canon? Probably not.... but i must admit i wanted a gargoyle character for quite some time. And she does both look gorgoeus and looks the part.

Are... are we talking about the same show?!?! because it had 3 seasons... and the 3rd season was... well... it was exactly what i would call "dragging on and ending in a sputter." 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I mean, nice characters and everything. But it was already completed and done with season 2 Maybe even a little too dragged, but every loose end had been tied at least. Season 3 was.... completely unnecessary and... honestly bad.

No, no, that was the second half of 2nd season and ends with the hunter's moon. Yeah, that was ... sputtering at best... but at least tied up a lot of loose ends.
1st season was 13 episodes. 2nd season was 52 episodes, 3rd season was once again 13 episodes. That might be why you think i was talking about 2nd season.
Third season was the one where they tried to look cool as "open and about" gargoyles known by the population.
It was... embarrassing.
Stuff like Broadway getting a show in hollywood. Bronx saving a kid from wolves. Hudson getting cured of his blind eye, myopia, and of the need to become stone during day because he got hit by a laser, except then he worsens more than he was before becoming completely blind and then needing more time than the others to get out of the stone and becomes stone sooner. Goliath getting imprisoned for vigilantism and working with a lawyer to make people understand that gargoyles have the need to defend. Gargoyles getting moss problems... and needing good old mad cloner doctor to solve it. Basically the one season that starts after hunter's moon where everybody know that they exist and ending with the episode where Xanathos tries to re-hide them by faking their death in a collapsing building. And failing (for once). Stuff like that.
On paper what i just said looks awesome... unfortunately it's the execution that counts. And it was extremely awkward.
I have not seen the show in a couple of decades, and i would not trust my memory even as far as i can throw it... but what i remember is that the 3rd season sucked. A lot.
