Magic items, artefacts and rare objects have always stirred up the interest of dragons.
Many legendary items end up collected by them through the ages and accumulate in their caves.
However, those hoarders of ancient times will bow to no one to keep their treasure trove.

Few have managed to survive the ire of a dragon to tell their story but everyone of them was adamant about one thing: never try to trick a dragon or take his treasures by force.
The only recorded tale of a successful transaction is from an old mage who payed a far greater price to get what he wanted.
Multiple artefacts of the same value and mountains of gold were needed to finally tempt the beast.
The poor mage got what he wanted in the end, but no one heard about him afterwards.
