mmmm, yours is a little different, wizard magic can be chaotic. Mine is a lovely warm feeling and a feeling of intense power is ready to be unleashed on a poor unsuspecting creature of darkness. It's rather exclerating. Have you thought about training as a cleric or paladin? That way you don't have to bring your own wizard everywhere.
You can still be a fighter, you will just get to add some divine whoop-ass to your arsenal. Paladin would work pretty good for you. Most of the time you have to follow a god to get the spark but sometimes you can find it within yourself as I have. An inner, self-improving and selfless way of living, in a way you are already doing that so it could be pretty easy. I have taught others in the past, I could teach you I am sure. If you ever want to give it a shot you know where to find me.
Seems to me you have already set an oath for yourself, to protect the innocent, bring light where there is only darkness, hope where there is only despair. Paladin or not, the oath is already there. Maybe one day you find the spark within yourself on your own. For now, I won't pester you with it any longer. You are a hero regardless, with or without magic. (Loth pats Arix's shoulder a few times and walks away)
