Metamor Keep - Facing Knight
The fourth story in my Metamor Keep series. This one is the first that has the third most famous rat in all of Metamor, Sir Erick Saulius! He's become a character I'm very fond of, and his relationship to Charles ends up being very complicated. But this is also the first time we really see what Charles is capable of.
Another fun little note: I often get the names from classical CDs because they can be foreign to American ears. Both Saulius and Sondeckis came from a CD of Borodin symphonies that I was listening to a lot at the time I wrote these early stories.
