Maxine Mink has moved to a new home! It's a lovely spacious one-bedroom house...located at the bottom of a lake. Maxine doesn't mind, though - she just takes the concept of "semi-aquatic mammal" to new extremes.

Of course, living alone as she does, it can get kinda boring on occasion. She doesn't own a TV for obvious reasons, reading a book is kind of a hassle (ever tried turning pages underwater? It's not easy), and the phone's always off the hook - and even if someone could call, it's not like she can talk down there. It's one of those lazy Saturday afternoons where the only thing to do is sit on the chaise lounge and blow bubbles. Underwater living has its price, to be sure - but for a retired movie starlet who just wants her privacy, it's all worth it.
