Markus had a little bit of a hard time coming to terms with just how visceral his trip to school was panning out to be. Tucked in the cowl of his friend and watching his backpack quite literally hanging by a thread tied around the tip of said friend’s fringe, he tried his best to pace his breathing.
“Thanks again for giving me a lift, Luso.” The little man mouthed, tiny hands gripping tight at the cowl around him. “I don’t know what I’d do without your help.”
Luso jumped, turning a corner and seamlessly resuming his sprint. “Probably use human public transit and be twenty minutes late~” He pointed out with a chuckle.
Markus responded with a laugh of his own, adjusting his own fringe so it wouldn’t hang over his eyes. “Heheh… I owe you one.”
“Don’t worry about it.” The turian assured. “I’m just glad I get to be the one to give someone a lift to school for a change.”
