My new pal and roommate, Lefty Lyman!

He's about a year old, a boxer mix, and the rescue has no idea how he lost his leg. He crash-lands on the stairs sometimes, but other than that, he gets around fine!

I should show you pictures of my cat little miss...she's missing her back left leg ...and she gets along just fine...and she has trouble with stairs too but like cats...she lands on her other three feet fine :D He is such a cutie!

He's a handsome fellow! I wonder about his lineage. I can sorta see the boxer, but looking at the short coat and curly tail, perhaps he has Basenji in him? Does he bark at all?

He's got the boxer eyes and ears, but his muzzle is longer. He's skinnier too. He does bark. They said maybe shepherd, but then he'd be bigger, I think. So Basenji could fit...

Awwww He is cutw. It is something how animals will adapt to that so easily. I've seen a show on animal planet where the dog had two back legs and walked upright. Animals truely are amazing.

Daww. I love how dogs don't let a missing leg bother them at all. They just keep on going. Kind of a reminder that you can deal with losing just about anything, if you're willing to find a way to get past it.

Yeah, not sure... hard to see from the photo, but he has boxer eyes, with the droopy and red showing. And he looks very Boxer when he perks his ears up. That's all I have to go on. ;)
