Page 10 / 10 of ‘Tendril’s Demise‘.
This ten page story was originally created to be included in the “Furnation Magazine Issue #9“, which is now out of print. Copies of the magazine may still be available at https://www.furnation.com or at their in-person table at Anthrocon, but be warned some of the other stories are very adult-themed. Only inquire if you are prepared for animal naughtiness.
Less adult themed, our story is more in the ‘monsters chasing Dreamkeepers‘ genre, in case you were wondering what to expect. Although printed black and white in the magazine, the pages were originally done in color, because honestly, what else could we do? It’s Dreamkeepers, I’m not sure if it’s possible to avoid saturating every scene with chroma.
We’ve been meaning to post these pages online for some time now, but had to an urge to do some rewriting first.
For those who own a copy of the magazine, you’ll have a chance to look at an equivalent rough draft of our dialogue go to a more polished, fun version. For those who don‘t, the original first page is here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/590034/ At the time we submitted this story to the magazine, we were a bit pressed for time, being in the midst of Volume 2 production. But having a year or two to reflect on the story, dialogue improvements seemed inexorable.
So here you go! This 10-page bit of story does fit in with the graphic novel storyline, but it’s obviously quite a stretch down the road from where we are now. We hope you enjoy!

Thank you for posting as always
I've been able to catch your "old" graphic novel on one of those sites advertised by Angry Viking Press, I didn't read it yet but the few pages I saw already are making me quite excited to discover it. Nothing like a good solid book to fully appreciate an awesome artist's art

Awesomness.
Every single one of the pages.
The action, the art style, the colours, the humour, the setup, the energy, the everything.
If I had a minor critizism, it's that the action in the bottom of the pit was something I didn't always find the clearest, but only slightly. You've got great skill with action poses and action sequences. One of my favourite things about your art style is how you draw a character in motion, they just have energy, life and bounce to them.
Also a great sample of what you get in the Dreamkeepers Graphic Novels. Your Dreamkeepers Prelude webcomic is great, still read it regularly, but the novels themselves take everything to a whole new level.
