Good lord do I feel horrible about what I've done to this character...

This is based off a scene in the short story I've been writing where Mia (who's pregnant with Spirit and Belian at the time) is tempted by the demon lord Arsmodael. Fearing that her mortality may mean she's unable to be there to care for her children, he appears offering a "solution" and tricks her into accepting a demon core. Almost immediately it begins to transform her into something else, though he wasn't lying that she'd no longer be mortal...

I went with an un-outlined gradient for the demon fire, basically to show just how different and otherworldly it is compared to everything else. I did the same with Arsmodael's shadow form, gradually getting darker as it hears the top of his body.

And if you think that's all there is to him, you're sorely mistaken!
