"And here we have the Rock Wyverns of the Sunderrathi Mountains! This was our first pass at what a "wyvern" might look like in our world, and the cold region really helped push us in a direction that favored more mammalian traits over the strictly reptilian ones you might see elsewhere. We also tried mixing in a different art style, with a more "charcoal" sketch highlighting the wyvern's silhouette; as we didn't feel a standard sketch would be able to properly convey the feeling of such a creature dropping down upon you in the dead of night. Hopefully, after seeing this page, you'll keep a wary eye on the skies when traveling through the Sunderrathi mountains. Balfour sure did!" ~ MrGriss
