Gooeymaw - First Documentation
My part of an art trade with
tzologeist It's her Gooeymaw!
He's usually cuter, but I took a more vicious view on the man-eating tentacle beast, thinking that I would draw him as the first scientist to discover the species might have done in a field notebook. Complete with fictitious scientific observations of the anatomy, and that "OMG this journal is 140 years old" look.
I'm not totally satisfied with it, but I don't think it's too bad for something I've never drawn before (the creature itself, and something that's more feral in nature). I should have done more with the shading, I think, but I couldn't figure out how to make it look all "sketchy" like the rest of the drawing.
Anyway, I hope the creator of this interesting creature likes it! :O3
