the mam-dragons evolved from this guy... so this av is pretty old, at this point (it was done before the dingos.. the date on the textures is November 25, 2008, but that's for the mam-dragon version)
he has no eyebrows, because the way I set them up doesn't work with the markings >:
m'yess gay-crazy-dragon thing... really damn tall
everything built/textured by me... except the body which is SL's

Oh man I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm new to this whole SecondLife thing and I really badly want to learn to make avatars.
How did you make this? Did you use sculpted prims that you made in an outside program and uploaded into SL? Also how do you know if SecondLife will accept those sculpted prims? I heard it's hard to import certain things... does it cost $L? I'm sorry dude I'm asking too many questions. Over the past few days I've become so adamant about learning, and yet no matter what I search or try to understand, I still wind up clueless. I apologize.
In any case, this looks amazing. I really like the tongue! I want to be able to add a tongue like that to my av.

They're made in an external program, generally a converter is also required. Some programs (like 3dsmax) have built in plug-ins that make it easier to produce them properly. Every sculpt and every texture costs 10L to upload, which adds up. There's a lot of information available on the SL wiki and such.
